Features of the Ferno Model 71 Basket Stretcher
The Ferno Model 71 Basket Stretcher offers full body support and comfort regardless of the environment the patient is being evacuated from. Not only does the patient need to be protected, but so do the rescuers. The basket stretcher moves smoothly even over difficult terrain, preventing strains for the rescuers.
The stretchers are ideal for hazardous environments. This makes them suitable for an evacuation from the following areas:

Sports injuries – including mountain rescue for skiing injuries
The Model 71 Basket Stretcher can be used alongside the Ferno Millennia Spinal Board if required. The basket stretcher is spacious to allow blankets and life support equipment to be stored in the stretcher. To secure the patients, there are four adjustable restraints and both the inside of the stretcher and the footwell is padded for additional comfort.
The basket stretcher is durable and easy to handle. There is a four-point lifting bridle and hand holds for easy movement of the stretcher and is designed to provide years of service.
